2026

Wait for it...

My honest opinion: I look at the first couple of months of 2026 with disdain. January - April: the bunch-up of planets I've already discussed will occur (and is already occurring) and the Saturn-Neptune conjunction that will occur in Aries. Things feel stagnant in a familiar way (the bunch up) and unnecessarily hard (Saturn-Neptune).

But then. When Saturn is in Aries, and farther away from Neptune than it is right now (real close), we can do stuff. When Uranus goes back into Gemini in late April, that's also a shift into a yang sign. Then mid-year, Jupiter enters Leo. Another yang sign. Then Jupiter will trine Neptune and then Saturn, which is helpful (yang x yang = 👍). Pluto's already in Aquarius (yang sign). So that moves all the outer planets into yang signs. As long as Neptune and Saturn are appreciably far from each other, we aren't handcuffed by the wtf of it all.

To contrast: as of this writing, 4/5 of the outer planets are in a yin sign. Seven months from now, 5/5 planets will be in a yang sign. We will all notice the difference.

So: early 2026 is "ugh can I get a break from this?" and mid-2026 is "yes, here ya go." Saturn and Neptune remain in close enough aspect that it still counts for most of the year, which is not ideal, but the worst of it is in February-March 2026, so if you can grit your teeth through that, I think you're good.

Here's the thing: Neptune in Pisces (2011ish - present) has caused a proliferation of bullshit. Saturn's transit through Pisces has shut down some of the bullshit to an extent, but whenever any planet shifts from Pisces to Aries, it wakes up. While still in Pisces, there's a sense of complacency, and then in Aries it's like a car alarm going off next to your head, like "oh shit I gotta do something about this." So the collective sorta woke up in summer 2025 and then dozed back off, but in February it's awake for real, though given that it's Neptune and Saturn entering Aries together while holding hands, it's kind of like waking up in a random bathtub after a bender. So after figuring out where the hell you are, you have to spend March and April finding your shoes and keys and collecting yourself before actually being able to go anywhere in May. But once you get going, you'll keep moving. Cool? Cool.

It's going to feel like more of the same until all of a sudden it's entirely different. And I'd bet on May-June for "entirely different."

Happy New Year to each of you! Remember that you never need astrological permission to celebrate anything or be happy 🥳 🎉
