An extra helping of Gemini
(and some frustrated desires)
I'll be honest, I was reticent about sending the last post about Gemini because I was worried people would think I see certain combinations of energy and start rubbing my hands together and getting ready to be judgmental. Two things happened the next day that made me laugh: 1. I asked for the chart of the person I was doing a spirit guide reading for and it turned out she was a triple Gemini, and a triple *anything* is a rare find (the definition of that is someone with their sun, moon, and rising sign all the same). We did not talk about sexuality (it wasn't relevant and also I'm not nosy and do not care). It was almost as if the universe said "oh, you like Gemini? Here's the most of that." 2. I had an extensive conversation about the fact of gayness with someone with heavy Aquarius and he used the phrase "I don't care" multiple times, and then clarified what he meant by that (because he didn't want to be misunderstood for being cold): "I enjoy the freedom to live my life the way I want to, and if I have that, then other people should have that, also." So I'm also not the only not-caring Aquarius. I felt validated by all this.
Several things to note in the sky right now:
Pluto's back in Capricorn. We talked about that.
Saturn's nearly at a dead stop in the sky. If you are under a Saturn transit, you're stressed. If you're not, you're not. The calling card of a heavy Saturn transit is that things seem unusually difficult or delayed. The stuff you're held back from doing is usually a blessing in disguise, though at the the time it rarely seems like it. Cultivating a sense of acceptance when things are difficult will save your sanity, by which I mean acknowledging what seems difficult rather than falling all over yourself fighting the difficulty. If this sounds like you, I have suggestions, so get a reading or find me somehow.
Venus is chasing Mars through Leo, but Venus is losing speed and Mars is gaining speed, so Venus won't catch Mars. I typically like when Venus and Mars are in the sign (and I like even more when Venus is in Leo, which usually means *fun*), and I don't necessarily dislike this round. It's a rare event when Venus doesn't catch up to Mars, and the energy here is desire not catching up to action, so the satisfaction part never happens. What happens when desire goes unsatisfied? In my experience, longing or butthurt. Then Venus goes retrograde in July, so that could mean time spent ruminating on why you can't seem to get what you want... for those of you with unfulfilled desires.
Mercury finally left Taurus for Gemini, and in my continued love letter to Gemini, I would like to share the most Gemini tv show I've come across recently, which is the British show Taskmaster, in which 5 comedians are assigned the randomest tasks by two other comedians, and the comedian contestants have to interpret the instructions of the task and usually improvise haphazardly, as the assignments are timed. The tasks are absurd, as well, and it's not spoiling anything to tell you that the first one is eat as much watermelon as you can in one minute. It's joyfully stupid.
