I can't get no

We're at that point where Venus is scrambling to keep up with Mars, but Mars is pulling ahead, so if you're in a situation where you're desperately trying to enjoy yourself but you're really not feeling it, that's the energy of the moment. Then Venus gets deep in its feelings and goes retrograde. We have about a month before that starts, but it doesn't matter, the writing is on the wall already: dissatisfaction intensifies, basically. Sometimes people flail around trying to overcorrect for whatever it is in their life that's not up to muster (Venus is in Leo, so romantic entanglements or (life)style choices that are not making you feel fabulous), and I do not recommend overcorrecting, but Venus is retrograde in the same sign every 8 years, and I personally have a terrible history with Venus retrograde in Leo, specifically. So if you go apeshit with your dissatisfaction, you'll be in good company, as I will be alongside you, throwing things.
(Ironically, Venus and Mars will actually meet in Aquarius in 2024, so you might not actually care about the payoff you're after at the moment when it ultimately does happen. I'm shaking my head at that cosmic joke. Don't shoot the messenger on this one, please.)
What's the current sky good for? I keep asking myself this question and staring into the chart of the sky at the moment and the thought that comes up again and again is "going your own way." But not in the Fleetwood Mac sense. More in the "this endeavor is not working out for me" sense with major projects or goals. If your heart is just not in that job, or you have some service projects you once believed in but now do not, or you're falling all over yourself trying to help someone who won't help themselves, think about what you'd like to do instead. This isn't a catch-all invitation to destroy your life and walk away from it, but I guess you could disappear into thin air if you were so inclined.
I've been surrounded by people who have intense Neptune transits right now, meaning people with "stuff" in the later degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius, and they have either completely left the planet mentally or are fucking overwhelmed by input from left-field, like every day there's a new ridiculous drama, and it's out of control. This is the calling card of Neptune, which is stationing, or appearing to stop (which makes the energy more intense), and that can feel like an elbow to the head from the cosmos, like you *always* feel like you have a concussion. If this sounds like it's you, my advice is as follows: take a significant amount of time out of your day *on purpose* to connect with whimsy, fantasy, your higher self, your spirit guides, something ethereal, lucid dreaming, the earth mother, Big G himself—something, pick one. Prioritize this. Also: if something is trying to leave your life, let it go, even if you're not sure you can live without it/them. Unless it's food, water, or oxygen, you can live without it, I assure you. I have found that purposefully connecting with [whatever etherial thing you picked, fill in the blank] can restore your access to your normal brain for most of the day and alleviate the sense that the sky is falling. Basically: pay Neptune with efforts to commune with the divine or it will force you to against your will.
The biggest danger if you fall into this category is convincing yourself of something that isn't true, based only on the feeling that something is true and with very little physical evidence: this is a hard fall. If you can't find reality on your own, locate a trusted friend who hates bullshit with a fiery passion, and ask them for advice without concealing any sordid details from them. Then actually listen to their hot take.
Separate topic: past life stuff is coming up in almost all of my readings lately (yes, I can access this information) and with Saturn in Pisces, there's the potential to end past life patterns more than the normal amount in order to live a more full life *now.* I haven't actually been a huge fan of past life information, if you can believe it, because I've always assumed that whatever you're dealing with in THIS life is the stuff to focus on, but past life information becomes useful if you're overreacting to a stimulus in *this* life because it was very relevant in a different one. Random example, and not one from a reading, because I don't do that without permission: being unreasonably afraid of relocating because of a previous-life Oregon Trail-like experience (for those who did not enjoy the 80's computer game, that means a long, catastrophe-filled journey). But anyway, Pisces is a subconscious sign, and Saturn's a deeply conscious function, so if there are fears and phobias bubbling up that don't seem terribly relevant to this go-round, take them seriously and do what you can to work through them, because we all have the energy for it.
(By the way, if there’s stuff you have questions about or would like to read about, hit me up, because I need some inspiration right now. You won’t be bothering me.)
