Joining the Taylor Swift chat

I am too lazy to do a video on Taylor Swift's engagement this week because I've spent the bulk of my week doing academic work that would put you to sleep if I continued to describe it here, but she is one of the few beneficiaries of good sky energy in this whole Uranus, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto mini grand trine thing we've had going in the sky. Her Venus is at 1° Aquarius, which means it's being sextiled by Saturn and Neptune, trined by Uranus, and conjuncted by Pluto (record scratch noise). Yes, I said conjuncted by Pluto. That's...not necessarily a good transit, but Pluto transits forever change the energy of the planet they're transiting, so forever changing the expression of Venus in this case. Conjunctions to a planet in your natal chart means the natal planet is temporarily transformed or melded with the conjuncting planet's energy, so in her case, Venus becomes Pluto (temporarily). Love and money becomes charged with depth. Let's do some quick transit math here: Pluto is the ruler of her 12th and 1st houses, and Venus is the ruler of her 6th, 7th, and 11th. So we have (in the same order I listed them, respectively): the cultural zeitgeist house, her personally (the 1st house is "you"), day to day work, 1:1/romantic relationships, and friend groups/social life. Pluto located in her 12th house natally can be a mark of someone who is very affected by forces larger than themselves (like fame, for instance), so flooding Instagram with an engagement announcement would adequately describe that, no? The other easy aspects (the Saturn, Neptune, Uranus ones) mean things just happen easily on their own, like getting engaged. So this is textbook, and frankly, I welcome good news on Leo matters (love, in this instance) because Leo is under siege right now.

Every so often things line up for people in a gangbusters type of way, like if you needed a particular life event to happen, in Swift's case, like if you NEEDED to get engaged, looking at this sky and her chart, it's a no brainer. ALL of the outer planets aspecting your Venus? You are going to have an eventful love life, my friend. Additionally, Pluto is her chart ruler, and Jupiter was trining that pretty exactly when they announced the engagement publicly. Jupiter's the planet of everyone sending their well-wishes, for the record.

Some of you have been using the term "season of..." when talking to me about what you've got going on, and just like you can have gangbusters energy for something, you can have shitty energy (where lots of stuff happens but it's not the stuff you want) or NO energy (where you can't send or get messages to save your life). Taylor Swift has mostly gangbusters Venus energy right now, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime lineup, and it's right now.

Most of the time you'll have mixed-bag energy when you're trying to accomplish something. I learned a weird lesson in the last year with someone I'm close to who has had a career achievement in the midst of (my opinion) horrible energy. I wasn't sure whether the sky was anti- or pro- her moving forward with a goal, but wound up concluding it was a "yes" in a sea of "no." The achievement happened, but it's been painful every step of the way (also the horrible aspects continue, with one or two positive boosts). Conversely, the energy Taylor Swift has going for her right now is such that she just needs to show up and things happen for her, love-life wise. I repeat: this is once-in-a-lifetime for her. You get your seasons, too. Just like the sky can line up to do awfulness, it can line up to do amazing things.
