Money money money money

Let’s talk about Taurus, shall we? I’m not one to mince words: I find financial shit boring, and Taurus is many things, but it *often* deals with finances, which is also true of Scorpio, and the 2nd and 8th houses. Which are opposite each other in both instances.

Mercury will retrograde in Taurus later in April, so do your Mercury things sooner rather than later and for the love of god file your taxes already, if you haven’t. Don’t wait until April 15, that’s too close to the retrograde for my level of comfort.

Anyway, Mercury retrograde in Taurus should give us all time to think about money, our finances, the stuff we own, and possibly also our personal values. Maybe even stuff we find calming, too (that’s a good use of the energy). You probably remember that our friend Uranus is in Taurus, tearing shit up in terms of what we used to be able to securely rely on and trust. Like banks! Or breathing around large groups of people! And Mercury gets thisclose to Uranus before stopping to go retrograde. This could be interpreted several ways: the Mercury-ruled (people with a lot of Virgo and Gemini) might feel severely agitated while Mercury’s too close to Uranus but unsure of what to do about it. OR! They might try to take spastic action that does not go well. Did I just call Mercurial people spastic? No. Uranus is the spastic one, and the Urananians among us are unlikely to argue with me about their various spasms (literal or figurative—if you don’t know what I’m talking about, consider yourself lucky).

Should you throw out the baby, the bath water, the bathtub,  etc. while moving and changing your phone number in mid-late April? No. Resist the urge. Also resist writing letters of truth, blurting out your honest opinion, adopting opinions of certain legislators who don’t seem to have more than two brain cells to rub together, or investing in some random crypto. Mercury’s mental, so just find ways to calm your mind, because again, due to Mercury’s proximity to Uranus, naps will be difficult to come by.

Having said that, there’s the likelihood that you come thisclose to making some change that you don’t wind up making, taking the retrograde to think it over, and then once Mercury is direct again and conjunct (next to) Uranus in the sky, successfully making the change because you put more thought into it. Basically: don’t change banks until at least mid-May.
