Transit math with some ick factor

I rarely talk about politics, mostly due to how I was raised (long story), but over the past few years it's been almost impossible to avoid talking about politics. Every time I do it, my psyche protests and wants to talk about something else. I hate talking about Donald Trump and anybody else who seems to lack a conscience or an awareness that other people exist and should be treated like human beings. Having said that, I checked Trump's chart a LOT in recent years, because he has an accurate-to-the-minute birth time chart posted publicly. I kept thinking "maybe during THIS transit he'll finally be held accountable for the shit he's been doing."

But here we are and this is a good chance to show you transit math in action, by which I mean the ultimate impact of transits can be found in the areas of life indicated by the houses ruled by the planet(s) transited. Don't worry, I'm about to put that sentence into action so you can see what I mean.

When he lost the election, he had Pluto opposing Saturn, and Pluto-Saturn contacts tend to bring drastic changes to your career situation, but I thought "where's the rest of it?" since there was no accountability for acting like an unhinged raccoon during his time in office. Well, what does Saturn rule in his chart? Capricorn is intercepted in his 5th house. Okay, so losing the election was an ego blow. What does Pluto rule? 4th house: where he lives, and how he feels deep down (and I'm not up to debating whether he has access to his emotional spectrum at this point). Saturn co-rules Aquarius, which is day-to-day work. Okay, sure. Pluto made changes there, obviously. Plus, the transit was an opposition from the 5th house transiting Pluto to the 11th house natal Saturn, so ego blow (5th), as well as goals you hope to achieve (11th) and friends (11th). I think we can all agree that he lost some "friends" or people he thought were friends in the fallout of the election. Political parties are an 11th house matter as well.

But now Pluto has moved on and is in the last phase of opposing his Venus, which is conjunct his Saturn, and Venus rules his 10th house, which is career/public standing, and his 3rd house, which is communications, one of the houses of mental well-being, siblings, and...documents. Sometimes it's this literal. Also, he had a sibling die at the beginning of this transit. The Mar a Lago raid happened on August 8. Pluto was 5 minutes away from the opposition to his Venus. That is an exact transit.

This is why I love astrology. It is really, really literal.

I'd love to tell you some definite shit about him being held accountable for everything he ever did. Like I said: I've been watching this chart like a hawk and hoping that SOMEthing would finally happen, but I didn't ever want to jinx anything. I can predict all day what might happen (for anyone), but what actually happens is always infinitely more nuanced.

Life is endlessly fascinating.
