Pain in the

Venus and Mars are beginning to break up, and as I mentioned in my email about Venus I wrote a while back, they are running into the brick wall that is Saturn now. This is going to cause the feeling that you can't get what you want, or what you want is just out of reach (the Saturn-Venus part) or that it's going to be a long, hard, annoying haul to have to do specific things (the Saturn-Mars part). That's if you wallow in the energy. The stuff you want that's just out of reach? Ask the question of whether it's good for you in the long run. If yes, then commit to it. If no, find something more productive to do. If what you have to do is going to be hard, ask yourself: is it worth it? Last time Saturn and Mars were in aspect in the sky, I started swimming again, which was 6 weeks of pain and fatigue and it threw my diet off (the aspect wasn't in place for 6 weeks, I just made the decision to commit while the aspect was active). I'm a happy little swimmer now, but it was hard to get out of bed before dawn and jump into water, then be fatigued for the rest of the day.

The odd thing is that while Saturn, Venus, and Mars are active together, the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction is happening. The last one of these we had was in July 2009, and it was in Aquarius. Chiron was also involved, so it was a little bit of a different flavor, but I remember that personally I was just so convinced everything was going to work out somehow based on nothing at all.

What I think the Saturn-Venus-Mars energy can do to help you is show you starkly where your limits are, and help you decide which of your dreams are done being dreamed about, especially 2009 dreams (if you haven’t made it a reality yet, is it really going to happen?). Jupiter-Neptune can help you get new dreams, so don't worry about that part. Friends: if there is writing on the wall right now, read it.

Please tell your Aries friends that have birthdays right about now that it's going to be a year of limits in one area and either a big unrealistic dream or extreme optimism in another (and either tell them to strap in or send them to me for further context—this energy is in their solar returns which is the vibe for the whole year for those with birthdays now).
