Some lessons I've picked up

(The hard way)

If you met me 10 years ago, you'd never guess I'd be living how I'm living these days, or doing what I'm doing. The truth is that I previously surrounded myself with very intellectual people who mostly lived in their heads (which is what I grew up with), but I had a secret fascination with intuitive pursuits. I'd hide in the library in the section devoted to mysticism and then check out a ton of books hoping no one would notice what I was reading. These days, it's the opposite. I have a day job where I have to be very rational and intellectual, which is fine, but when I'm off the clock, I'm all intuitive all the time. So since my email from last week is still valid for another week, here are some observations from my adventures so far.

Have a basic understanding of your chart. Generally speaking, the house that the sun and Jupiter are in (permanently) in your birth chart are where things go easily for you and you have advantages. Also generally speaking, where Saturn and Pluto are, you'll have challenges. The south node of the moon will also help you discover bad habits you might not even realize you're performing if you understand what all of these things I just said mean for you, personally.

Follow the energy. Right now we have a bunch of Pisces-related opportunities, and I see people realizing dreams or being in epic funks of "it will never get better." That's the Pisces spectrum in a nutshell. There's nothing in Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, or Sagittarius aside from the moon on occasion (the sun's about to be in Aries which is why I excluded it because I don't know when you're reading this). Where planets are relative to YOUR chart is where action is happening in YOUR life. It's really that simple.

Don't fight the energy. Where you have Saturn in your birth chart, you're always going to be working. It can change forms, though. Let's say that it's in your 3rd house. A lot of people with Saturn in the 3rd struggle with early education (I've met more than a few who were held back a grade), siblings/cousins, communication, teaching, learning rote things, and circulating in their environment (can be literally always owning cars that break down or always getting on the slow train). Saturn's always going to have 3rd house lessons for you. But unless you're really unfortunate, you won't be in elementary school forever, so it's likely that the lessons evolve over time. Accepting this fact will save you a lot of time: you're always going to be doing 3rd house work, and it's always going to feel like work. The same goes for transits: a tropical vacation while Saturn is on your moon is not going to feel restful. You could cry about it or you could reschedule.

Learn to cultivate some trust that you're on the right path. One of the most fun things to do when I was learning astrology was tracking where transiting Saturn had been when I had specific issues, as well as periods when Mars went retrograde (because I’m sensitive to Mars energy), and finally where the north node of the moon was transiting, because that segment of my life was almost always going well. It made me feel like there was more order to the universe than I'd previously thought was the case.

...unless you're not on the right path at all. Sometimes, for a select few of us, life brings an unrelenting shitstorm or a comedy of errors. Sometimes it's just a shitstorm and you’re just meant to weather it. Often, it's to nudge you back on track to get you more aligned with your soul's intentions for this life, or nudge you off of one track and on to a completely different track (also your soul's intention, which your chart can also help you decode to an extent, and other intuitive pursuits can help with decoding the rest).

Don't begrudge anyone their happiness. One thing that happened in the early days of COVID was people I was reading for had good aspects in their chart and they felt GUILTY for their good fortune when everyone else was miserable. And we've all seen someone who's upset with someone they're close with because the other person got something that person wanted (marriage, a baby, a promotion, etc.) bad energy doesn't last forever and neither does amazing stars-aligning energy that makes really good things happen, so when it's your time, please model enjoying the shit out of it for the rest of us.

As always, if you have questions about any of the above, hit me up.
