This week's eclipse
Plot twists on the horizon
This week, we have a solar eclipse at 29 degrees Aries, and normally I'd shrug and say "yeah, okay, eclipse, so what?" but this one is in aspect to Pluto, which is at 0 degrees Aquarius, so it's 91 degrees off (actually less if you look at minutes but I'm probably the only person severely nerdy about degrees and minutes, yes?), and that's still a square. Basically those of us with active Pluto transits are going to feel an additional wrinkle in our Plutonian experiences. That's it. Just a plot twist. You can handle a plot twist, right? (I know some of you just said "no.") So you can expect to see people this week experiencing something unexpected that didn't previously fit into the narrative. Pluto is beginning to station to go retrograde, so there's additional energetic emphasis on irrevocable change right now. I think this is taking the form of breaking down resistance amongst the resistant, because those of us with planets at or around 0° Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, and Leo are highly resistant.
Also this week: Mercury turns to go retrograde, like I discussed previously, and we can expect our Virgo and Gemini risings to be experiencing mental tension. Hot tip for them: do not overcaffeinate as a coping mechanism this week. Stimulants are not the answer to mental tension.
Mercury retrograde rules are here for your thrice-annual refresher. This one's in earth so it's time to revisit your values as well as things you own but maybe don't need, or don't own but maybe need, but please remember: take no action until Mercury isn't retrograde. Just think about it.
