Thoughts on 45

With as much maturity as possible, even

I was raised in a religion in which you're not allowed to discuss politics, so as an adult, it's still (somehow) difficult for me to do. I've also never been particularly interested in political bullshit. It just so obviously reeks of posturing and nonsense; I don't understand why sometimes other people don't see it, but I've learned that some people do not have as strong of a bullshit detector.

Throughout the duration of 45's tenure (no, I am not going to say his name), I literally could not listen to him talk. Most of what he was saying was incoherent, which the pull quotes attested to, but the negativity, name-calling, and constant lying was intolerable. Dude has a narcissistic wound that wrecked global havoc and continues to. So just to be clear: I do not like him at all.

Having said all of that, what's happening to him right now is a product of several sky things. For starters, Saturn is stationing (stopping) on his descendant, which is the beginning of the 7th house or the angle on the opposite side of the ascendant. Recall: the ascendant is "you." So he has Saturn opposing "him." Saturn = reality. Often during this transit, you have problems in your primary relationship (assuming you have one). Sometimes, your primary relationship ends, but usually your partner just becomes a pain in the ass somehow, or something happens that ups your level of responsibility to them. It can take a lot of different forms: sometimes partners of women who have just given birth have Saturn here, meaning that their access to their partner is limited because she's busy caring for a tiny human. However, the 7th house is also one of the justice houses. The 9th house is the other main justice house, but the 10th house could be interpreted that way as well, as judges have authority over you. So Saturn in his particular case is a judge opposing him. Saturn's not moving from its position for another month or so, so the legal problems may mount, or the fallout from this week's ruling may continue to progress.

Pluto is also stopping in the sky in loose opposition to 45's Venus (= money), but in direct inconjunct to his Mars, which sits on his ascendant. Anything with Pluto to Mars makes you feel attacked, and Pluto is serious forces outside of your control. Mars on this man's ascendant is responsible for most of his petulant combativeness in the first place, and I assure you, wherever he is, he's screeching about "injustices," which is par for the course. He's kind of like the boy who cried injustice at this point, while simultaneously being the emperor who has no clothes.

What's interesting to me though is that in 2 years, Pluto's going to be inconjunct his ascendant while Neptune and Saturn (together) will also be inconjunct his ascendant, forming a yod, which will probably be ugly as hell to watch for us all, regardless of what form it takes. Yods to your ascendant put you in a serious, serious bind of some sort, and people tend to flail around and do the most when they should really sit still and wait for the energy to move again. At the same time, Uranus will square his ascendant and descendant, which adds even *more* pressure to the mix. That's a crazy amount of energy at once. Like, I would really rather not know what form this will take, but we'll probably all find out very much against our wills, assuming he's still alive (he's old and under a lot of stress--that's all I'm saying).

What's also interesting is that Pluto has been very active in this dude's chart for the last 5 years, and it's a reminder to me that Pluto's a process and that its transits can still be in effect after the transit has passed exact aspects. I would have declared his Pluto to Venus transit over, but it's obviously not, since he just took a huge financial hit. I saw an interview with Michael Cohen this week in which he stated that 45 is a master of "delaying the inevitable" and I'd say that Pluto often represents the inevitable. Especially now.

So I write all this non-gleefully, believe it or not. What's happening right now makes total astrological sense and is a good case study. You don't wish this shit on other people, because no one is exempt from rough transits. But it seems that 45 has arrived at some of the inevitable.
