Transits and your cast of characters
Astrology can often be very, very literal, so here's a fun one for you:
Find the last time your sun or moon took a transit from an outer planet, and ask yourself who you met at the time who either was or turned into the embodiment of that planet.
For me, transits to my sun tend to bring me men and transits to my moon tend to bring me women, but it can be people who fit a basic description of you don't want to mess with the restrictions inherent in gender norms.
Basic descriptions:
Jupiter: jolly, optimistic, worldly, academic, but not always terribly reliable people. What happens: you get a new perspective.
Saturn: older people who are critical or exacting, or who have a specific way of thinking about or doing things that they don't deviate from. What happens: you're encouraged to grow up and embrace responsibility.
Uranus: unpredictable or chaotic people, or someone who is really, really different from normal. What happens: you break free from some preconceived notions of how life works. Unless you hold on to your notions too tightly, and then life can get rather jarring because these people start acting weird as hell.
Neptune: people who are spacey, religious, alcoholic, spiritual, psychic, or all of those things. They can be chaotic but it's usually emotional chaos. What happens: confusion, mainly.
Pluto: intense, diabolical people who are capable of operating secretly, who are obsessive in nature. What happens: a power struggle.
Personal examples:
Saturn trine my sun: had an older male friend in grad school who gave me a lot of unsolicited life advice that turned out much later to be right.
Uranus sextile my sun: took improv classes and met a bunch of men of varying ages and backgrounds who I never would have met or befriended otherwise. I dated several of them, and those were also weird choices.
Uranus trine my moon: received help from a Uranian woman who was rebelling in the act of helping me, because she didn't agree with a decision that had gone against me. As a result of that help, I met a second Uranian woman who is now my friend (who has Uranus on her ascendant--things on your ascendant mean you embody that planet literally).
Neptune on my sun: got married to someone with Neptune on his ascendant.
Pluto on my moon: I got a new boss who was a bully and a liar who repeatedly tried to build a case to get me fired.
Now, for this one, you are going to need to use charting software or an ephemeris to figure out when, exactly aspects happened to you, but it's a fun thing to do, because I guarantee you that the universe has sent you people who fit a certain description at a certain times of your life. You can set your watch to it.
