Venus's next adventure

I'm a sucker for Mars-Venus conjunctions. To me, the planet of love and the planet of action in the same place in the sky (which is what "conjunction" means) bodes well. It's a creative time, it's good for those of you who want to relate well to others, and it's good for harmony and getting along. So, after all the Venus retrograde nonsense, the good news is that Venus and Mars will be conjunct for an extra-long period, since Venus will be moving at Mars speed for a little while, and Mars happens to be in the right neighborhood. This is in effect from about February 3 to March 24. But we must also consider that they will be conjuncting Pluto and then Saturn on their merry way across the sky, so I'm walking you through this below.

Dates to consider, please note there's overlap:

February 3 - March 5: Venus and Mars conjunct in CapricornIf I could pick signs to have Venus and Mars conjunct in, I wouldn't pick Capricorn or Aquarius, necessarily (Leo, Libra, Cancer, Pisces are all way higher on my list) but they'll be together in Capricorn and Aquarius, so we will deal. Mars is stronger in Capricorn than Venus, meaning its energy will express more loudly, so it's a good time to take action in a nice way. Like, do what you need to and be polite about it. Ask your boss for favors. Know anyone in sales? It's a great time to sell a lot of shit. If you have a to-do list a mile long, now is a fortuitous time to knock most of it out.

February 24 - March 10: Venus and Mars conjunct PlutoVenus and Pluto were conjunct for 5 weeks in November and December. It's intense energy, and not to be overly reductive, but it's just fuckery. Relating and relationships become a life-or-death matter for some with this aspect, and when you add Mars to the mix, you have the atmosphere of domination, meaning that there are going to be turf battles, winners, and losers in the name of love....and probably also money. Worst case scenario (in my opinion): you had an ex pop up during Venus retrograde. You ignored them. Now they're back at this time and being really aggressive to get your attention. Remember when Left Eye Lopes burned down her boyfriend's house? (No? Google it.) This is similar energy. Do not set fire to your boyfriend's shoes in his bathtub at this time. I don't care how mad you are.

While I'm fully joking, when Mars-Pluto energy is active, you need a physical outlet for excess energy. Go to the gym. Go outside. Pick a fistfight with a body pillow. Just get the energy out so you don't explode on your nearest and dearest.

March 6 - March 24: Venus and Mars conjunct in AquariusNeither planet is particularly strong in this sign, so this is a really good time to have productive conversations with friends and loved ones about the future you want to create together: plans you want to make, dreams you have, astrology discussion groups you want to start (kidding but totally fits the energy). Following the separation from Pluto, it's also possible that you can detach from situations that aren't serving you...nicely. If you need to leave your book club, I'd pick now to make your exit.

March 25 - April 4: Venus and Mars conjunct SaturnGood things don't last forever, and Venus and Mars hit the wall that is Saturn at this time, meaning if you didn't leave your book club during the good window, your book club will be back and demanding you make them obscene amounts of finger sandwiches. Said another way: relating gets heavy, people call in favors, everything feels like a chore, etc.

April 5 - 12: Mars and Saturn conjunctVenus leaves Aquarius for Pisces on April 5, and Mars and Saturn remain conjunct, which is a signifier of the need to do hard work, aggravating work, or having to control your aggression. These two are still in Aquarius at this time, so attempt to avoid engaging in arguments that are going precisely nowhere. Excuse yourself politely if you feel the urge rising to yell at someone.

Following Venus retrograde (and Mercury retrograde), and combined with Jupiter in Pisces, I think most of this time is going to be a reprieve for a lot of people who have taken it on the chin for the last couple of months. The answer to "can't we all just get along?" is yes, in February and March.
