Hang on to your butts

Now that we're done with the personal planets retrograding for a while, let's discuss the macro of 2025, sky-wise, which is essentially sign hokey-pokey.

Currently:

  • Jupiter is in Gemini

  • Saturn is in Pisces

  • Uranus is in Taurus

  • Neptune is in Aries

  • Pluto is in Aquarius (it's staying in there)

This year:

  • On May 25, Saturn moves into Aries, where it stays until September 2, when it returns to Pisces.

  • On June 10, Jupiter moves into Cancer, where it stays for the rest of the year.

  • On July 8, Uranus moves into Gemini, where it stays until November 8, when it returns to Taurus.

  • Neptune returns to Pisces October 23, and shifts back into Aries January 27, 2026.

Basically it's going to be hard to stay on top of what's where and how to adjust to the energy because most of it goes back to where it came from rather quickly, but in 2026 it'll come back again, so it's kind of a trail run. Don't be surprised if you find yourself in totally new territory, because with this much shifting, it's either going to knock some stuff loose or open up some doors. People are going to be ready to try new things.

What I like about what's happening here: Aries, Gemini, and Aquarius are yang/active signs, which means activity in the outside world. Yin signs are about inner work and contemplation, and they alternate around the zodiac, so Aries is yang, Taurus is yin, and keep going around the circle that way. We've spent the last decade-plus with Neptune and Pluto in yin signs, so rather than the ability to act and get stuff done, we've been reacting. There are opportunities here to dust yourself off and think about what you want to do.

Pluto, Neptune/Saturn, and Uranus are going to be forming what's called a mini-grand trine, which is two sextiles and a trine (a grand trine is an equilateral triangle with 3 trines). Generally speaking and globally speaking, it's good energy. It looks like this:

Triangle!

Time to look at your chart and see if you have any energy in the 0 - 4° of any signs, including your ascendant and midheaven. As you will see, if you are directly impacted, this energy is a mixed bag. This is so complicated that I'm just going to make a list by sign:

Energy in 0 - 4° of a sign and impacts
Aries: Conjunction from Saturn and Neptune simultaneously with support from Uranus and Pluto is confusing and probably overwhelming change, but Uranus will mitigate it somewhat in 2026 (I'm not going to kid you that Pluto will be "helpful"). I don't think the square from Jupiter will clarify much for you.

Taurus: Square from Pluto in Aquarius is probably drawing all your attention with the brief sextile from Jupiter in June bringing a fresh opportunity or two. (Taurus is probably in a bunker in an undisclosed location at this point anyway.)

Gemini: You're probably not getting much sleep with Uranus rattling you. The trine from Pluto is empowering but deeper than Gemini likes, and the sextiles from Aries are supportive toward following up on some dreams: the way forward will probably find you somehow.

Cancer: Inconjunct from Pluto is unsettling and the square from Saturn and Neptune is disorienting. Cancer will hang on for dear life anyway (love you!) but take stock of changes you need to make and work on them in fall 2025. Don't just be an ostrich and bury your head. Jupiter will bring some new energy and opportunities but Pluto and Saturn/Neptune are pulling focus. Jupiter could also exacerbate your stress temporarily.

Leo: Pluto opposition means you're in a major power struggle, but Saturn/Neptune and Uranus are throwing supportive aspects, so while the cavalry is THERE, that doesn't mean you fight a death battle. Check the ego and look for other options.

Virgo: Yod from Pluto and Saturn/Neptune, Uranus squaring that point. Incredible pressure and disruption. The yod means you can't move and the square means you have to. The sextile from Jupiter is probably not that noticeable. Maybe get a massage because you need one.

Libra: Opposition from Saturn/Neptune with trines from Pluto and Uranus. Lots of change that should be largely easy to make. That opposition is going to be from challenges you either don't understand or that keep switching up on you. The Jupiter square may add new elements to the change.

Scorpio: Yod from Saturn/Neptune and Uranus, square from Pluto. This is being trapped in a stalemate and you have to wait it out (and not go scorched-earth). The trine from Jupiter could make you feel slightly better...

Sagittarius: Opposition from Uranus, but trine from Saturn/Neptune and sextile from Pluto. You'll have to make major changes but the good news is that you can.

Capricorn: Square from Saturn/Neptune, inconjunct from Uranus. Expect some random-ass problems. And the opposition from Jupiter can either bring you some new ideas or more problems.

Aquarius: I'm sure you've noticed the conjunction from Pluto (understatement). Saturn/Neptune and Uranus should provide some relief.

Pisces: Square from Uranus, which should wake some of you up, and enjoy the trine from Jupiter.

I'm standing by my claim that this energy is good overall but as you can see on this list, it's deeply rattling for just about everyone who is directly impacted. So if you find yourself in a cluster and need me to unpack what the hell is going on, well, just reply to this email and we can talk.
