Water problems

And weird adventures 🐟

In astrology, there are 4 elements to pay attention to: fire, earth, air, and water. At its most basic, understanding that we're all energetic beings and there's a ton of diversity in each individual's energetic makeup and how they express said energy is really the foundation of astrology, as well as intuitive pursuits. The longer I do this, the easier it is for me to guess what someone has a lot of, element-wise. If you find yourself saying "that guy lives in his head" well, that's air energy. Someone who is incapable of speaking in anything quieter than a soft yell has a lot of fire energy. The people who work for anything bureaucratic and cite rules and procedures to you have a lot of earth energy (a lot).

So let's talk water, because most of what I see right now are water problems. Have you ever tried to stop water from going somewhere? I ask that, assuming you don't build dams for a day job, or you're not a beaver who can read.

Let's consider a body of water: how does a drop of water in the body of water differentiate itself from the rest of the water? It doesn't. People with too much water begin to become easily overwhelmed, feel insignificant, feel useless, or identify with the pain and misfortunes of everyone around them. That last one is very dangerous, obviously. Water doesn't have boundaries.

People with a good amount of water energy (that's functioning healthily) are open to intuitive stuff, beliefs different than their own, whimsy, dreams, fantasy, etc. People with too much water energy that's not functioning healthily are defensive, paranoid, and can begin thinking that the universe has a personal vendetta against them. Worst-case scenario: they see psychic guidance where it isn't and get stuck in false belief systems and unreality. When you do psychic training (mostly a water endeavor) the way my mentor does it, you have to delve into your own psychological hangups in order to both work through them and differentiate the feeling of paranoia from intuitive guidance, because the two feel similar. This is why, for some people who are psychic, some days they are spot-on and other days they give you garbage information that makes no sense.

But what does it look like if you have no water energy, OR you have water energy you're trying to suppress? Skepticism and a strong avoidance of emotionally painful situations. The no-water people think astrology is bullshit. They distrust intuitive hunches. They either don't want to hear my psychic adventures at all or they ask "really?" a lot. I decided this year to quit trying to talk the no-water unbelievers into understanding what the hell I'm trying to explain. (You can have very little water and be open to new ideas. I'm not categorically saying I won't talk to no-water people. I AM saying I'm tired of trying to prove things to people who don't want to believe me.)

No-water people having major transits from watery planets, like Pluto and Neptune, are going to suffer big-time: they aren't equipped to handle pain and they're going to feel some, and more than likely their tried-and-true ways of functioning in reality are going to fail them, and they're not going to be able to explain what's happening. Sometimes they find me, and I can see what's happening in their chart, but we spend the whole reading arguing because the person does not want to accept the fact that a far-away planet has relevance to their personal life. (I get it: I used to be one of the haters and I spent ample time going "seriously?" when I was learning.) The crisis period will pass, though, and their old trick will start working again, and they'll put it behind them like it never happened. Usually.

Fire energy can be intuitive, but in a different way. It's a more expansive, belief-system-based deal. Water energy is quiet, and you begin to just know things without feeling terribly strongly about them. If you feel TOO strongly, it's probably paranoia instead of intuitive guidance (if you practice enough, you learn the difference). Obviously, this stuff is difficult to put into words, but that's the whole point.

I'll give you an example: let's say you're in the mood for a fish sandwich. You go to a fast food place and order one:

Earth energy will just give you the fish sandwich.

Fire energy will congratulate you on your wise decision and tell you about everyone they know and like who eats fish.

Air energy will tell you about the nutritional properties of fish sandwiches.

Water energy will look at you mysteriously and tell you to get on a city bus, and get off at a certain stop, and find a guy named Sam. You're confused, but you do it. You find Sam. Sam hands you a fishing pole and some bait. Now you're...catching your fish? What the hell? Annoyed, you head to the waterfront to fish. You're struggling because you don't really know how to fish in the first place. You notice a wedding down the beach: one of those occasions where everyone's having a great time. You feel wistful and lonely at the juxtaposition of them vs. you. Finally, after some tribulations, you catch a decent-enough-sized fish, and set about finding this Sam guy to give him his pole back. Instead of finding Sam, from the wedding invites you to eat some of their ample food. They're serving fish sandwiches, and you even get some cake out of the deal.

Imagine your level of incredulity: you were previously standing IN a restaurant that wouldn't give you a fish sandwich, but now you're at a wedding eating better than you would have in the first place, and you've made new friends, even. Water energy does not make a lot of sense, and if you can get over that, you might get where you're going.
