We like to see it
Thank you for your service, Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is dating Travis Kelce, and thank god pop culture has something cute for us to pay attention to. We do have a birth time for Ms. Swift, though it's suspect, and she's a Scorpio rising with Mars on the ascendant. Even if that birth time is wrong, Mars was still at 26 Scorpio the day she was born, and that's important for my purposes today. Also she's a Sagittarius, but she only has the sun in that sign.
Travis Kelce has Venus at 26 Scorpio and a Sagittarius moon. There's no birth time for him, but the moon was in Sagittarius all day the day he was born (which is not true of everyone as the moon changes signs every 2.5 days).
I just said three very adorable astrology things, so let me say them again in plain english:
IF Taylor Swift's birth time is accurate, and I am always suspicious of birth times unless I am staring at a birth certificate, Kelce's Venus is on her ascendant. Oh my god is that a softball for Taylor Swift. When someone has Venus conjunct your ascendant, what they like/desire is YOU. It's even helpful if a person has Venus in the same sign as your rising sign, but it's intensified if the Venus in question is within 10 degrees of the rising degree. It's just easier to like someone with this energy exchange, and you do not have to try very hard. Similarly, the ascendant person will find the Venus person pleasant.
If you would like to explore this yourself, figure out your rising sign (you need a birth time for this) and look around to see who in your life has Venus in that same sign. You do not need their birth time to know which sign Venus was in that day, just a birth date.
One person's Venus (Kelce in this case) is conjunct the other person's Mars (Taylor Swift). The only bad thing about this is the Mars person is going to rile up the Venus person, and Mars-Venus exchanges can be dramatic, especially in Scorpio. But Mars and Venus contacts are a hallmark of attraction, and conjunctions are as direct as it gets. It's the same degree, and closer is better with these things. When you are looking at two charts, you want to see action in the Mars and Venus categories, even if it's one person's outer planet to a Mars or a Venus. No Mars or Venus action? No sale.
His moon is in the same sign as her sun and possibly conjunct it. It's just easy to be in relationships with people who have their sun in the same sign as your moon or their moon in the same sign as your sun. The moon person will subconsciously get what the sun person is about, and there's a natural affinity. Same sun or moon signs are easily doable but not as binding.
This is called synastry: comparing one person's chart to another person's to see how they relate to each other, in both good and bad terms. You can also combine the charts to create a composite, or a chart of the relationship, which is also very telling and will give you relationship themes.
