Welcome to Libraworld

For the next few weeks especially, we're all going to be feeling Venus, and, for the most part, our issues are all going to be of the Venus variety: beauty, relating, lust, finances, purchasing. I just listed things that aren't issues, but imagine any of these things goes wrong, and then it's an issue. Since Venus is stopped in Leo, pride is involved, too. Or vanity! Maybe your crush doesn't like you back. Maybe the investment plan you touted isn't as lucrative as it once seemed. Maybe your haircut sucks. (Please do not get a new haircut right now. You can get a same haircut, just not a new one, or a different hair color.)

Concurrently, the transiting south node of the moon shifts from Scorpio to Libra, and I already covered that, but I'm already not in the mood to be told to be nice, stuff it, and work on getting along with people, so this is going to be a long year and a half-long haul for me. Libra is about 'the other' and often with the south node there, you must cater to what someone else wants rather than what you would prefer to do. Did I say often? I meant always. The north node, or growth behavior that's hard to do, is Aries, or doing whatever the fuck appeals to you in the moment, which I heartily prefer, but again: I have incredible bias AND I was raised by two Libra south nodes who were always telling me to be nice.

For some of you this is going to feel like a sudden emphasis on Venus where there wasn't one before. Venus and Mars are the least retrograde of the planets we've got, and people tend to get wacky for what seems like no discernible reason at times like these. You know better, because you know me. In its usual form, Venus is pleasant and mildly benefic (meaning it confers good things) and when retrograde, it is the opposite of that.

Here's what you do with the energy for the next couple of weeks: think about things you like, or things you would like to do, or things that you can add to your life that would make you feel more like your best self. Watch what comes up, and what from the past it reminds you of, and whether you should resurrect it from the past, or leave it be. Do not take action until after the retrograde is over.

Also: do not sing Kumbaya, no matter how much people ask. At least, not around me, please.
