2024 energy (part 1)

And 2024 offerings (deals!)

What's up guys. Obviously some things have changed, but after sending you the Vibe Check Challenge, I got real about moving away from Substack because of their non-vibe-check-passing problems. And in so doing decided to change my branding because I've always jokingly called myself The Oracle, but the point of Oracles is they respond to questions, which is my whole thing, too, and what I enjoy about doing readings: if I know what question I'm answering, I'll get you answers. Anyway, happy 2024, I'm working out the kinks of the new platform, so thanks for your patience if anything's wonky for a little bit. If you have questions or want readings, find me here.

Okay, let's talk sky for 2024 in macro terms: I think 2024 has two segments to it, and the break point is July. I can make the case for June if I squint, but July is where things even out. The first half of 2024 has all the planets scrunched up in less than a 120° distance from each other, which means that just like in 2020 and 2022, we are all kind of stuck doing the same old, same old, which thrills no one, I know. Actual people with all their planets in such close quarters are the specialists of the zodiac: they're rare, but they exist, and some new ones are about to be born this spring. The thing about them is that their sphere of caring is narrow and usually limited to the places in their chart where the planets are. It's almost like you can't make them care about things they're not interested in (and I’ve tried). So the issue with the first half of 2024 is you're going to be doing some of the same shit you've been doing in the past 5 years or so, and it's really going to feel that way, like, can't we do something else for a change? Good news, though: with Pluto in Aquarius, which it enters later this month, people are going to start to realize that yes, actually, not only can they have different reactions to being stuck in the same energy, they WILL. This might be you! You might break free from the status quo or you might not. Pluto in Capricorn is making a lot of people hold on to what little comfort zone they have left, but Pluto in Aquarius is a different story: a much more mental one, and a much more Uranian vibe. (Uranians like to break shit just to see what happens.) Basically, a lot of people are going to feel claustrophobic and start to break out of situations they're beyond sick of.

Let's say you hate where you live but for whatever reason you can't move, and the cluster of planets in the sky is such that you spent a lot of time alone in 2020 and 2022 (like lots of 1st house or 4th house stuff, maybe). And you started joking that you were going to ditch everything and move into a yurt because you hate your house. In 2024, a small minority might actually move into a yurt. If there's wisdom to be gleaned in this type of situation, I think it's that sometimes you have to be exposed to something you hate SO MUCH that when you decide to be done with it once and for all, you really mean it. There's actually a lot of power behind saying "never again" and meaning it. Those are the times where you make serious life departures.

The thing is: the solar returns for people born in late January through June are all clustered up, so if your birthday is sometime between now and June, well, I hope you like where the small chunk of planets falls in your solar return chart, because those are your marching orders for the year: you'll be real focused in certain areas and damn the rest of it. My solar return is clustered in areas I'd rather not focus in, but since the other option is relocating to the other side of the planet to get a better deal, I'll figure out how to work with the same (fucking) energy....more. It truly is a new spin on old shit for the January through June crowd. Or yurt life. (I’m offering solar return readings and transit readings that will demystify your various clusterfucks—see below.)

At the end of May, Jupiter moves into Gemini. As much as people might love Jupiter and look forward to what it does, I am of the opinion that Jupiter is not enough to move the needle in terms of energy shifts. Like, yes, Jupiter in Gemini will get you some new ideas and new people to talk to, which will be welcome, but people see Jupiter as this boon that I think is mostly hype. Jupiter's a lot of things but realistic is not one of them. So Jupiter's a partial explanation for the shift later in the year, but the reality is that in July, the planets will spread out again that we'll have more breathing space. Rest assured I will address the second half of 2024 when we are closer to it.
